    IT WAS JUNE 5, 2011, WHEN THE ZENKAI MOTORSPORTS RACE TEAM HEARD THE CALL OVER THE RADIO AT THE PIKES PEAK INTERNATIONAL HILL CLIMB. THE TEAMíS 2009 SUBARU WRX STI WAS REPORTED TO HAVE SLAMMED INTO A GUARDRAIL.

      I might be up for the drive. It's only about an hour ea way.

      I'll confirm when we get closer to the date though.

      Just saw that car yesterday in not so good condition as it was towed into Subaru of Las Vegas. Looked like it caught a wall in the front bumper passenger side.

      The car is 100% perfect. We trailer it with the bumper/splitter in the back of the truck, as it is too low to clear the ramps. Some of the normally hidden ducting was on the car when it met the guardrail on Pikes Peak. So, it has some dents and bends to it that add character.

      And I think it may have been mentioned, but Thomas is driving the car again/still.

      Unless something has changed since last time any of us have gone to SMMR, spectating shouldn't be a problem at all.

      The Las Vegas Region of the Porsche Club of America presents two great days of Open Track Driving and Driver Education at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch on February 23rd and February 24th 2013.

      Car Details and Emergency Contacts:
      Please note that you will be required to fill in the details of the car you will be bringing to this event prior to adding your event registration to your shopping cart.

      You will also be asked for any modifications made to your car (i.e. if it has a roll cage, etc.), whether you have a permanent number on the car and for emergency contact details.

      Pre Registration Fees for this event are:

      Saturday Only: $225.00
      Sunday Only: $225.00 (No Sunday-Only Students)
      Both Days: $350.00

      Transponders will be available for rent at $30/day

      At Track Registration Fees will be:

      One Day: $275.00
      Both Days: $400.00

      Cancellation Fees:

      14+ Days Prior to the Event: 100% Refund
      7 - 14 Days Prior to the Event: 50% Refund
      7 Days or less Prior to the Event: No Refund

      Please note that a Tech Inspection Form will be required to be completed which can be downloaded from the Las Vegas Region web site (part of the Event Flyer). This will need to be completed and signed and brought with you to the track to present to Tech.
